Legal notice

This site is published by Entretiens Emond, a grounds maintenance company working in the Quebec City area.

Intellectual property

The text, photos, logo and layout of this site belong to Entretiens Emond unless stated otherwise. Reproducing or reusing any part of it requires written permission first.

The photos show work carried out by the company. They are shown as examples and are not a guarantee of an identical result on another property.

Liability and external links

The information shown here is provided for guidance and can change without notice. Only the written quote binds the company: it alone governs the work, the price and the timeline.

This site links to Facebook, Instagram and TikTok pages. Those platforms have their own terms and their own privacy policies. Entretiens Emond has no control over their content or over the information they collect.

Privacy policy

This policy explains how Entretiens Emond collects, uses, discloses and protects personal information, in accordance with Quebec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector, as amended by Law 25.

It applies to entretiensemond.com and to requests that reach us through the form, by phone or by email.

What is collected

The quote request form collects only what is needed to get back to you:

• First and last name
• Email address
• Phone number
• The service you are interested in
• Whatever you choose to write in the message field

Nothing else is asked for on the site and no payment is processed here. The site collects no card number, no social insurance number and no health information.

Like any website, the host keeps technical logs — IP address, browser type, pages visited — for security and for the site to run properly.

Why it is collected

Your information is used for four things:

• Getting back to you about your request
• Preparing and sending you a quote
• Scheduling and carrying out the work if you accept the quote
• Following up on the service and invoicing

It is used for nothing else. It is never sold, rented or traded.

Consent

By filling in and sending the form, you consent to your information being used for the purposes described above.

You can withdraw that consent at any time by writing to us. We then stop contacting you and delete your information, except what the law requires us to keep.

How long it is kept

Your information is kept as long as needed to answer your request and, if a contract follows, for the length of the business relationship and the accounting and tax obligations attached to it. It is destroyed afterwards.

A quote request that goes nowhere is deleted once it no longer serves a purpose.

Sharing with third parties

Your information is shared only with the providers that make the service possible: the site host, the tool that receives form submissions and the email service. Each one only has access to what its mandate requires.

Some of these providers may store data outside Quebec, including in the United States. Information stored there is subject to the laws of the country where it is held.

Nothing is shared with anyone else unless the law requires it.

Cookies and analytics

The site sets no advertising cookies and no tracking cookies.

Fonts and photos are loaded from external servers. Your IP address is sent to them, as it is for any image displayed in a browser. Those providers have their own privacy policies.

Your rights

Quebec law gives you the right to:

• Access the information we hold about you
• Have it corrected if it is inaccurate, incomplete or ambiguous
• Withdraw your consent
• Ask for it to be deleted
• Ask for it in a structured, commonly used technological format

To exercise any of these rights, write to entretiensemond@gmail.com or call 873-375-4525. We answer within 30 days of the request.

If our answer does not satisfy you, you can file a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.

Person in charge of personal information

The person in charge of protecting personal information at Entretiens Emond is the owner of the company, reachable by email at entretiensemond@gmail.com or by phone at 873-375-4525.

Security

Information sent through the form travels over an encrypted connection. Access is limited to the people who need it to handle your request.

No system is foolproof. A confidentiality incident would be handled according to the obligations set out in the law, including notifying the people concerned and the Commission d’accès à l’information where the risk warrants it.

This policy can change. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the page, and the version displayed here is the one that applies.
